too expensive for the quality
My son loves lightsabers and enjoys to toy. I don't see too much educational value, and the quality is questionable. When trying to extend the lightsaber, it pulls apart very easily.
DON'T buy this
Cheap garbage as all the reviews said. Only bought because my son asked Santa for this and the other choices were waaaaay too expensive, even for the big guy. If only for a costume, it's so cheap that it won't pop out most of the time. I'd make one out of TP tubes before I spent money on this.
Well used in our house
We bought this for our 4 1/2 year old. He and his 2 year old brother used id daily and wildly for 9 months before they managed to break it. I am now having to put it back together daily but I am fully prepared to buy them a new one based on the amount of play they got out of it. No plastic weapon used for hitting is going to last forever but I was satisfied with how long this one lasted considering the abuse it took.
very poorly made
This toy broke immediately. The plastic sections of the blade are a very cheap plastic and have never worked properly. My son was so excited to receive this and was immediately disappointed. Spend your $$ elsewhere!
Broke within 2 minutes of receipt.
This piece of junk broke when we were putting batteries in it - the cheesy plastic saber parts fell out and cannot be repaired. The only good thing is that I will never have to listen to the constant requests for this toy again. To quote my grandson, "This is the lamest light saber ever!" And I would add, the most expensive!
